Toxic Play Clarification

  1. 9 months ago

Thank you for your patience. This is a very busy time of year for a lot of us. Crafty has posted the updated rules regarding toxic behavior. You can read them under the Rules page. They read as followed:

    The Gnome Clause
If, at the discretion of the Admin team, you are deemed an excessively toxic*, negative, or damaging presence on CM platforms or to the CM community, as a last resort, staff reserve the right to ban, permanently or temporarily, your account(s) and/or IP ban you from the server/discord/forums. The enactment, full extent, and severity of this ban will be determined on a case-by-case basis by Crafty and the Admin team. *Excessively toxic is defined here as a perpetual engagement of harrassment, bullying, or unconsensual actions against another person or entity after being asked to stop by either the player or a staff member. (PVP, raiding, and griefing do not apply as these are agreed upon terms when joining the server. However, inappropriate actions taken while participating in these activities can still be deemed toxic behavior.)

so if we have been griefed and then ask that person to stop as we are not consenting to it, and they continue they can be banned?

    Or

If I am griefed or killed by another person and I tell them to stop, they have to stop? or they can be banned?

    asking for clarification.

PVP, raiding, and griefing do not apply as they are an agreed upon feature of CraftyMynes. If you play here, you understand that you could be raided, griefed, or encounter pvp. It's a risk you take. If those players were to, while griefing or raiding, do something defined under "excessively toxic," like putting up targeted signs to intimidate or attack you personally or using a weapon that's been named something meant to harass you, then that could be reported. But the actions of griefing and raiding alone have not and will not be considered a violation of any rules. You can try and tell them to stop, but that doesn't mean they have to, and they certainly won't be banned just for raiding, griefing, or engaging in pvp.
