Cartographers sell maps to sea temples too I believe

  3. @PenguinMytyMJ why bother making shulker boxes instead of making ender chests bigger? what's the point? don't they do the same thing?

I'll explain as best I can. Unlike an enderhchest, these will have multiple, unsaved inventories. They are not player specific, so you could steal one of these, then place it down and get the items out of it. THis is great for moving to set up a new base, or several red stone machines could use these.

  4. tbh making the enderchest bigger would also be nice

  5. But couldn't you put shulker chest things(i forget the name lol) in ender chest to make them larger? I haven't got to play the snapshot so idk.

  6. I guess now my shulker spawn egg will be more valuable

That would be pretty mad bc 27 space in shulker box X 27 enderchest space so if you could get 27 shulker boxes you could effectively get your enderchest space up to 729

  8. Tfw no llama spawn eggs

  9. @PenguinMytyMJ why bother making shulker boxes instead of making ender chests bigger? what's the point? don't they do the same thing?

For me the most interesting feature of the shulker boxes is that they can be broken by pistons, picked up/moved through hoppers, and placed by dispensers. A great feature to create storage systems where the chest of items you need can be delivered to you on request. (without having to mess around with minecarts and rails, and taking up less space)

I'm not sold on the observer block, the fact that it only detects on one side, and only outputs from the opposite side makes it more limiting than the piston BUD to my mind.
Also I really hope the BUD piston behaviour doesn't get removed.

From what I read normal piston BUD mechanics will not change

Phew, I was worried that they might start using the the piston mechanics from MCPE which don't have the BUD behaviour. Especially because the observer block was supposedly added to MCPE to replace the intentionally missing piston BUDs.

  12. Oooo 1.11 yey, too inactive tho :/

  13. basically the difference between a echest and a shulker box is that the ender chest has only one GUI for every ender chest used. in every shulker box you can put different things. (wood in one and meat in an other one as example), it can aslo be placed by dispensers as @NutjobBob says. I assume that is gonna be used for some kind of new fancy storage :D
