Reason for my ban: "Flying, High Jump, Speed" (From Memory)

Why should I be unbanned: I wasn't flying, jumping high, or running fast - I was exploring the Nether to find myself a location for a base when I was teleported into a bedrock cell, with the flavour text "Skitty1558 has been naughty and is now in jail" or something like that. I was then killed repeatedly without the chance to ask what was going on, and was eventually banned because I refused to respawn after death.

So, I was Jailed and then Banned for "Flying" for some reason, could anyone explain what's happening?
