I was banned for a VPN.?

You see the thing is to the very best of my knowledge I am not using a VPN. I have no idea how this could have happened. I live in the middle of nowhere, and my internet service provider is mobile hotspot through my phone. For when I joined the server until my band I haven't changed any of my settings. If I'm allowed back in I'm not sure how to avoid this again in the future. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for your consideration.
