Maybe they didn't want to fully get rid of the custom villager commands for spawning them cause mojang might change stuff in another update, nerf something important, and then some of them are needed again. Maybe they just wanted to keep the commands for something special. Maybe they saw no reason to remove them. This was a crazy accident that enabled players access to the command block, which I don't think has happened before and probably will never happen again, or at least in the near-distant future, so there shouldn't have ever been a need to remove them, as they were useless outside this incident.

This wasn't when it rolled back then, this was right now. Lots of people in chat are having this happen right now, after it was supposedly fixed.

Is there a roll-back glitch going on? We're so confused right now. Me and Optimus were mining in a mesa, I had shulker boxes on me, a few placed down, and he had just set up a beacon with some dia blocks on him. Then we just were back in time a few minutes. I relogged and was standing where I was maybe 10 minutes ago, my inventory what it was 10 minutes ago. I'd seen something like that before with a roll back across the server, but my shulker boxes weren't where they initially were 10 minutes ago. Optimus' dia blocks were "rolled back" too and weren't back where they should have been. The terrain reset to before we mined it. We figured it was just that and then it was all okay again. We lost a bit, Optimus losing quite a bit actually, so I relogged again just to make sure my connection was good. When I got back on a second later, I was standing in the spot I was standing in when it first rolled back a few moments before. I got really confused and so walked around and relogged again. I was back again to that same original spot. I restarted the entire game, same thing. Same thing was happening to Optimusjag too. What is going on?!

There are 2 noises i think. One is like a robot-ish sound. The other, I can't explain it. Just sounds like I'm being hunted down by something. For a moment I thought that maybe there was a new mob added that stalked players, but was extremely rare and unheard of. Mojang has no idea how easily minecraft could be turned into a horror game.

I noticed that recently there are far more creepy noises in minecraft than usual. At least once a day, I'll here something that should be in a horror movie, like when they pan the screen around, right before the camera settles on a person standing nearby, now with something behind them, preferably a ghost. Usually, I'd only here creepy noises if I was in a cave, but those were just called cave noises on subtitles. This sound has become far more common, at least to me. The first time I heard it was at night. I was alone in the woods, digging a hole, and then this sound just came out of nowhere. Never heard it before, not once. It sounded like something was coming to get me. I tp'd out of there so fast, then just logged off until the next irl day. Freaked me out so badly, I had to stop playing for the night.
