@HaloNest shulkers can actually spawn white in deserts @NutjobBob

I was in a deep ocean, not a desert, and they all spawned white.

I'd like to buy a repeat of my first order again, just cause I like them. 8 white boxes, 8 black boxes, and 8 cyan boxes. :)

Did you try to place the shulker spawn egg yourself? Cause the exact same thing happened to me. I tried it with a bat egg, cause i have two and don't care about them, and the spawner changed, so I tried it then with my shulker egg. The spawner turned back to its default spider and three white shulkers spawned around me, but when i killed them, they dropped their normal purple shells.

@carhadras I think resets should be a last resort and for reasons other than people complaining about fairness because they did not get something that somebody else has.

There's no complaining about unfairness here, at least not in my decision for a map reset. I have had 2 shulker eggs and more than a dozen spawners to put them in. I had full opportunity to use and abuse them for money. I had as equal a chance as Cepheid in taking over the market economy(though I could never have made as awesome and efficient a grinder as he), but I didn't. I actually got rid of my eggs, one by selling super cheap, the other by placing on the ground. I got the same eggs as other vip+ and the same opportunity to use them, so theres no unfairness in this situation. In fact, a decent chunk of the people asking for a reset have access to shulker spawners/eggs or are in otherways fairly wealthy on the server. It would actually be unfair to them if we reset, because they will lose more than anyone else on the server(being the most economically sound/rich), but to better the future of the economy, they still asked for a reset.

There's a lot of cool parkour tricks that could be put in. Like flipping trapdoors to gain a little height for a certain jump, redstone timed parkour where you have to beat the clock or else your way through closes, using heads to jump on which have a smaller surface to stand on, a super hard section where a skeleton shoots at you and tries to knock you off your block, and the shulker box idea would be pretty cool too.

I used to use a bed as my set home. I'd tp home and it took me to where I'd get out of bed. I see the point for making it completely bed related, but figuring out how to keep the tp system without a particular sethome function might be hard, then again I know nothing of commands.

@misterkickman ITs an opinion first off, but think how easily things would balance if you had to take a horse or pack of llamas to spawn to trad, i think it would be really cool and fun

The map is huge. To stay safe, people have to live very far away, thousands and thousands of blocks away. No one wants to walk/ride all that distance, taking away hours of their time, just to go to spawn and trade.

Besides that, as much as I would hate to see all my creations disappear, and as much as it pains me to say this, I think a reset would be the right decision. The entire system of how many people get rich on the server has been compromised, and starting over with a new style of earning our way to the top is probably for the best.

I found a random zombie villager yesterday walking around in rtp range. They do spawn naturally. It also happened to be a cartographer when i converted him. So it's possible.
