There are two hidden(I say hidden cause I only found out about them a few days ago) Librarians in spawn, but i don't think there are any in the trading post or VIP Lounge.

I would love to be a part of all that, it was magnificient, but I have a low number of deaths and I'd like to keep it that way. I don't think I'd be well trusted as an outsider either :'(

There are no Librarians in spawn. You might be thinking of the Butcher that sells exp bottles for 8 emmies. But I looked it up and Librarians only sell name tags for 20-22 emmies. That's their set range. Even the two hidden Librarians in spawn sell it for no less than 20 emmies.

Most villager's I have found sell name tags at 21 emmies per, or something around there. The cheapest trade I have found is 20 emmies per name tag. And I have several librarians and have checked every one. All the same. I think that's the standard they are set at.

I think other villager trades would be nice, just make them a bit pricey so normal player shops and trades can be cheaper and people will naturally go to other players more instead of the villagers. So if someone really needs something they can cough up the extra emmies or dias for the villager trades and deal with a slightly less fair deal. Like the wool one, if the seeds to white wool trade had been more expensive, like a stack of seeds and an emmie for 4 wool, that might have been more fair, and player shops could make a living still with their cheaper trades.

I don't think you get what I mean. If you are building something like a complex castle or house or some kind of statue or anything like that(meaning not an area to mine out, that's not "building," that's mining), use reference pictures to help guide the build so you don't mess up.
