While it was indeed a while ago, you did fly hack on our server under the name of KoalaKillz. Unfortunately hacking offenses are a permanent ban without exception so the ban will remain in place. Wish you good luck finding somewhere else.

If you don't like the rules then make a suggestions thread about it asking for a change and outlining your reasoning. The forums are the place for that kind of discussion, for numerous reasons, chat certainly is not something the staff involved reminded you of.
What you don't do, is violate our chat rules and cause arguments in chat. That isn't a civilized discussion that's you trolling and breaking our rules. Which as you discovered leads to a ban.

Now if you have an actual complaint about the rules you can make a thread in the suggestions section and I will happily debate the merits of the no swearing rule with you.

However given your complete disregard for the chat rules you will be unbanned in 72hours from this post, I suggest you take this time to reflect upon the rules. Especially the one that states "listen to staff".
If you have a problem with the decision of a staff member raise it with them in PM or on the forums.

Once again to reiterate, the current changes do not require an update.

@humfrydog Well I probably get in trouble for saying this but as i see it a map reset is imminent and I am ok with it.

All the ocean areas will be broken down into multiple biome types, frozen. cold, warm , mild and multiple variations of them. Along with 48 desperate ruin types, fish only in certain water types, shipwrecks, 5 different trident types. I know all the map hasn't been explored and these area could be updated but with all the issues with rain off, renaming items, water mechanics breaking most machines, mansion mechanics plus all the update features it makes the most sense to start fresh to address as many of these as possible.

I am sure ill get in trouble for being honest and accused of map reset hysteria but that is how I see it.

Do i want to lose my wealth and all I have built not really.
Do i want to have a messed up map and have to deal with machines needing redesigned? no
If i have to choose from those 2 evils i choose map reset to fix mansions, all oceans equal and hopefully fixing phantom and rain issues.

There is no plans for a reset, if and when we decide to reset, we will tell you.
We keep just as up to date on the new developments as you guys do.

Our policy on hacks Is made clear in the FAQ and other places I doubt adding another notice will convince people to read it or obey it.
People are going to appeal and beg for mercy regardless, or try convince they are not hacking(Which in in very rare cases is true).
Everyone believes they are special and will be pardoned, it's not that they aren't aware we don't pardon hackers.
