Pots would give you about an extra minute before you died. That assuming you had an inventory full and spammed them.

To clarify this is not a bannable exploit since it gives no real advantage and is extremely impractical to use.
Living past the border would be considered such I believe but it's essentially impossible so it's moot.

If you don't have a licence to transfer from an old pc.
You can get Microsoft Windows 10 home for about 120$ legit, you can get Oem versions for 90$ but it'll be locked to your PC and no phone support.
You can also get the keys much much cheaper if you trust resellers.
You can also get most Linux variants for free if you are willing.

This is a pretty solid rig for that range which would definitely run Minecraft to the max.

It really depends how much you want to spend, it's hard to give an estimation without a price range.
That way we can guide you to appropriate parts or or good builds.
To run solely Minecraft well, you could get one relatively cheap for about 250$. Wouldn't do a whole lot more but it'd work.
