Will teleporting in the nether to someone else in the nether work ?
@argonFiles Are you staff now?
He is correct, please do not bother glowing staff.
@darktyui Also all I want is for the rules to say no trapping or camping end or nether spawn just add that in and I would be more than happy
This isnt about your happiness.
If and when we have time to add it, we will however until them you are still bound to it regardless.
Its a hard to enforce rule however that does not invalidate it.
The rules is there for a reason and it will stay as such imclusing trapping.
I disagree.
With lava at your back in the nether spawn there is only 2-3 viable paths to leave spawn, short of tunneling through which we wish to discourage. Trapping these leads to much havok and pointless deaths.
I also can't think of any reason short of trolling to actually trap the nether without collecting the drops.
We are aware of the situation however all the Ops are kinda busy Irl atm so it may be another day or 2 before we get to it.
We wont be offering protection for it however.
@Eberk91 The rentable plots, would that be something he could do there? If not maybe make another area for user owned shops? Although we do already have the trading post so a shop would be kind of pointless. Just a thought.
No if we introduce the rentable plots all items will be removed on entry making shops impossible.
This is to prevent people from using it as storage.
We try not use enchant villagers since they end up screwing the economy.
The main problem with the render distance isnt ram but CPU power, luckily however there is a solution, we will be upgrading our server from an Oc4770k to 6700k at some point in the near future.
Mojang will then hopefully fix 1.9 entities from increasong exponetially to quadratically which should dramatically improve peformance too.
After these two large changes we hope that render distance can be increased back to 6
