lol, this is fucking hilarious, well played boyz
@BrigadierPenguin in search of our lost brothers and mackeral. He quickly established himself as the most dominate force on the server leaving destruction and chests devoid of mackeral in his wake. He looked upward to the skies and screamed at the top of his lungs NOOT NOOT! The call rang out across the many realms of minecraft and the lost brothers had found their beacon.
Upon hearing this most righteous and holy cry brothers began to alt tab and search the internet for its origin
@edward638 Tournament time will stay the same ( Saturday ). Remember to bring full set of iron armor, iron sword, 1 bow, 16 arrows, and steak / magic steak (so everyone has the same saturation) during the event. Due to this, iron blocks have also been added as a prize.
Losers of M13 and M14 will compete for 3rd place ( as suggested by Mabzino ), for 10 iron blocks.
Just to confirm, this means no shields?
go to google, type in "Central time to nz time"
The arena does look a bit dodgy for a skill-based tournament but should be fun anyway :P some small adjustments would be nice though, maybe remove 3 of those sugar canes cause all they do is block vision and absorb a hit by accident, make the bridge slightly wider with no roof, and remove 1-2 of those trees
No 3rd place prize :D gonna be exciting (inb4 ed jooks me in the first round)
We could have a fun wildcard kinda match betweeen Loser of M13 and Loser of M14 for 3rd place? Just a fun idea
You do realise March has passed, right?
@dragon age: 18 (turning 19 in march)
hmm, it's 1 am gmt on a saturday, it's doable lol, although I feel like 6-7 pm central wouldn't affect americans much but would mean more europeans can join
@Kankuroku the 1.8 server is still around, maybe he is showing how good he is on there not on 1.9. 1.9 is not everything matey
and also pvpers in 1.8 are still pretty good in 1.9, as strafing is still relevant.
Nah, nobody plays on the 1.8 server.
Strafing isn't as relevant as it was - although some skills are semi-transferrable, 1.9 is a whole new beast.
edward, just a tip: make each fight first to 3, because just one fight can be won due to luck, lag, etc. first to 3 wins is a much more consistent way of testing skill.
Could we get a confirmed time and date soon? Pre-emptively, please be mindful of timezones :)
Thank you for putting your effort into a community event!
oh, was this a profile change or just a recording from a long time ago
