okie dokie! I'll catch you tonight :D
Sure @jamlbon when will you be on? ^^
Y'know... this irks me, and I'm not even staff. Real, living, breathing individuals with LIVES have spent 6 months (guys, that's half a fricken' year) working on a project for US to use. I mean, maybe it's just me, but it feels beyond insulting to complain about something that was done for our benefit. I see people complaining that it's too realistic and that just blows my mind. The casino wasn't built as a "get rich quick" system; it's supposed to be used to get a few random gifts as thank you's to our dedication to the server (by playing and voting). I just cannot believe some of the backlash that is happening in regards to this project.
You have to admit, without a TPA system, most players would quit. I don't understand how having a TPA system affects the survival aspect that much in the game. It's almost necessary to have for multiple people that base together, and to make any real progress in the game. I will agree that the Nether Roof TPA is way OP but I also like that it is a feature made available to those who donate--it seems only fair to have a few perks for putting money into the server.
Well there's also a difference between someone selling an object that's asking for offers-- and then actually accepts one of the offers they receive, and the person who sells an object but refuses 90% of the offers because they don't feel they've gotten a high enough amt. of payment. It's like they are trying to hit a reserve that hasn't been met-- if that's the frame of mind you're in, you might as well just set a damn price lol.
I agree with Omega on this-- even at pawn shops, normally they will give you an offer to work with first;
There is nothing more frustrating than seeing an item for sale but the person selling it won't say what they want in return. I don't think it's fair to make the purchaser come up with several different offers simply because the seller hasn't found an offer they like yet. Makes way more sense to come up with a set price and negotiate from there. To me, it feels like the seller is just trying to get as much as they can from the person coming up with offers. If they don't know how much something they are selling is worth, come up with a price and see if anyone is buying at that price. If they aren't THEN adjust.
I dunno, I've always hated that in games, I mean, it's not THAT difficult to find out how much something is worth.
Awesome! Thanks for the info guys ^^ @BaronBattleBread can't wait to see it when it's finished!
Uhm, my apologies if this has already been mentioned but is the black market supposed to be inaccessible? just curious because i was going from one side of the casino to the next, fell in a hole and then tp'ed back to spawn. Went back into the casino and noticed an NPC with the title "Black Market" underground, and the tile in the floor kept appearing/disappearing.
Sorry if I'm really late to something here, but I found it strange and now I'm curious. o.o
Thanks!
