I had an online relationship for over a year before. Best relationship I've had. We met irl four or so times, and they were the best times I have experienced. In fact, I stayed at her house for a week (I was 15; she lives in Minnesota, I live in Indiana, so that's saying something). I could give you studies showing how relationships formed online have the potential to be incredibly powerful and very real, but I doubt you want to hear that and that would be best done privately.

Point is, don't be so quick to judge. What does not for some may work very well for others. :)

Fun fact: NN created a relationship and a half :D (the half being myself and MoonMidnight, since it's not official but it's basically as close as it can get. I can definitely say that without NN I would not have talked to Moon as often, and perhaps our relationship wouldn't have gotten to where it is now). So happy for DankerFan and Arvella, and very proud that we at NN can make relationships prosper, romantic or not :)
