Just putting in my two sense - this is going to be a mess of random history and trivia and opening up old wounds unless it's done correctly. To make an actual timeline, it'd be best for a person or small group to work on that, getting facts from the community, rather than simply making a thread where people will post anything in any order.

If people like exploring the old forum posts, this might be a perfect job for ya. I don't know much of what happened before NN got here, but I can certainly be of assistance with events within the past 6 months.

There are four new mobs, only one of which will be added, as decided by a vote during the livestream. A thread was just made about this. I suggest following Minecraft on Twitter, if you can. (:

@MagicalMapmaker Too bad they don't tell us anything about how the mobs would potentially behave, give us any names, or let us know how they would impact the game in general. All we get to pick is which one looks the coolest. :P Judging by that alone, I think everyone will end up picking D.
