Hello everyone! I've finally figured out how to make spheres in minecraft! So i made a Dome, with a diameter of 100 blocks, and free space inside with a diameter of 98 blocks! I've finally done it!
It took 3 hours to make in creative mode, phew.
Also, i don't want to get paid for doing this. It's just something i might do for fun
@NerdieBirdieYT At first I thought these were poem/song lyrics you made...
Please make this a song I'll pay you diamonds XD
It's a parody of idubbbz' diss track :P
I can finish the hole thing though :P
Boy gotta flex, gotta flex flex flex. Because when you've got no personality replace it with an old egg.
You really don't see everyone rolling their eyes, hoping to die.
They're so tired of the items you post in our face?
No no no no, you think we're gonna say
"Oh my god, you're such a legend! You make me kneel with your egg and mending, you've gained my respect and you're oh so funny! Please, take me to your base and kill me"
@WBlaine Your argument is more reasonable, and found holes in mine.
Iron can be easily farmed, so there isn't a limited amount of them, this will make the price change up and down, depending on if players with iron farms use them in the economy.
The US dollar to potatoes supply is also a very strong point.
People mine under layer 16 to find diamonds, not the entire chunk, good point.
All these factors seem to change the value relationship between iron and diamond.
I looked at the wrong thing, i looked at "How rare they are". When i should have looked at "How much work does it take to get them", and working to find diamonds or iron is subjective. Factoring in the many different ways there is to get these supplies, I'd say that we can't really pin down a specific price for iron per diamond.
@BluePlauge Im not claiming to be a math expert but does this account for diamonds only spawning below Y16? Because if Im not mistaken all you really did was divide 77 by 3.097.
This is how many diamonds spawn from bedrock to the build limit, i checked on the minecraft wiki
Diamond ore
Iron ore
@HaloNest @Sofatroll Oh sorry, my bad.
How effective is it at farming?
We could use math to answer this.
There are about 77 iron ore per chunk.
There are about 3.097 diamond ore per chunk.
Craftymynes' world has an area of 200k*200k, which gives us 40000000000² blocks in area.
40000000000/16 gives us how many chunks there are, 2500000000 chunks exist in Craftymynes.
2500000000 * 3.097 Gives us 7742500000, that's how many diamonds exist in Craftymynes.
2500000000 * 77 Gives us 192500000000, that's how much iron exists in Craftymynes
192500000000 / 7742500000 Gives us 24.862770423, we can round off that to 25.
So that's 25 iron per 1 diamond.
Hope this helps! :)
