I think this idea has been out a long time ago. The main issue with active nether portals is getting spotted as it reduces the distance people need in order to spot your base. I hope this doesn't happen with your pretty base though, good luck :D.

I was thinking of building one of these guardian farms for a massive private xp farm, but never had the time. Glad to see one with such aesthetics out there already.

This base reminds me of my previous building style, underground bases of 3 blocks tall. I make them at least 4 tall now since 3 seems to be too narrow and very difficult to decorate imo. Hope you won't get spotted with the maxed out beacon :D.

Ah, I remember CreeperLord tping me to this castle once when he was cleaning up spawn, so that's why he generated a double chest of obsidian overnight XD.

That looks awesome, just bright enough to match the night sky. But wouldn't this be too obvious for any explorers/raiders stumbling nearby.

Although I don't use it, I would like to ask if Forge is allowed, since shaders installation and compatibility seems to be better with it from my experience.

However, I will not be surprised if my request is rejected as I am also aware of the existence of Forge mods similar to mods in hacked clients.
