Just break your portals and you're back in business. Players do it all the time and stay safe.

Make sure to remove the nether portal too (use the book to return home).

I have 540 stacks of stone. I am on on odd times but last time I managed to give @Sofatroll I think about 50-60 stacks before he had to log. So I'll try and find him or other known members of your group next time.

Also, for rewards I want a signed book from Sofatroll as a certificate of thanks so I may frame it or something similar. Yes, I'm serious. :)

Enjoying your work, please keep pics coming.

Wow, nice. Even more impressive knowing the team effort behind it.

@Dmoney5000 From how bad of a portal spawn I got in the nether, whoever finds my portal probably deserves my stuff. It was a horrible spot that I have to dig out of to even find the nether to explore. I have yet to get out of it after digging there for a few days, if you find it, then you're the best dang portal comber

Not sure if you understand how nether portals link together but if someone used ANY nether portal within 1024 blocks of your active portal, they'll pop right in to your base. They don't have to find your personal nether portal. Just keep your portals deactivated before and after you use them to reduce the risk of being found and raided/griefed.

It's a great build, thanks for sharing it!

Can you show us the updated map of the town at some time? It helps to show the overall level of work that's going on in your island.

@Fisban_Regner Just incase people haven't see my other post I'm actually away at the moment. We are in recovery atm the baby is doing great though and so is mom we expect to be out in a few days if every thing goes well

Yep, I saw that, congrats btw! Not sure if this is your first kid, I find myself being at home more now that my family has grown as well. More home time = more chances to start up MC :)

There's no rush on my end with this build so whenever you get a chance. I can donate in the way of some redstone supplies To assist you in future red stone projects.

@Grinning_Bobcat I am also interested in the plans for a industrial iron farm compact enough to not be noticeable and if you accept you'll understand my concern, I could provide help and I have had experience building these before but I just want to build this quickly and effectively to support my else economically on the server

I don't think you need redstone for an iron farm except to collect the iron.

@Dannysharks As far as the scamming rules go that applys purely within spawn and as such i wouldnt consider it as breaking the scamming rule

Yes, thanks for the clarification I should probably not be joking like that :) . Regardless, I'm aware of the risks. To me it's worth a few non-refundable emerald blocks to take a chance on players. If you try to scam, I'll just take note and warn others.

Valgys started the conversation Looking for contracted buyer(s).

I'm a semi-active player playing pretty much solo (I have a RL friend/basemate that's on and off again with MC so he's worthless lol). There's a lot of things I want, not as much time to trade for them, and even less time to go get them myself.

I'm looking for an active group dedicated to buying merchandise for me. Here's my proposal:

    Requirements:

    1. Has to have at least 2 members.
    2. Has to have a positive CraftyMynes work/play history. Being an already active shop is a plus.
    3. Has to have at least 1 hour per week available to perform buyer activities and available around 4 days/week on the server so I know I have a good chance to be on to do trades with them.

    Buying on my behalf:

    1. I submit 1 signed receipt and 1 unsigned copy for my list of desired items, quantity, my proposed offers, and expected buyer's commission.
    2. Buyer reviews request, and if accepted, signs the copy and gives back to me.
    3. I give a non-refundable emerald block for every different item requested.
    4. Buyer(s) go out and tries to find/trade for desired items at offered price, or lower. Any profits gained from acquiring items at lower deals goes to buyer. There is no deadline for the buyer, but after 2 weeks I am released from the obligation to buy the items on the list.
    5. Buyer posts on forum or simply finds me in-game to coordinate trades.
    6. I purchase the item from buyer at proposed offers, plus the contracted buyer's commission that was agreed upon. In addition, we trade our signed receipts.
    7. Upon trade of receipts, contract is fulfilled.

    Additional Notes:

    • The receipts are considered binding contracts. Failure for either party to meet its duties is considered scamming and would be submitted to the local magistrate for evaluation and resolution (likely through application of a battle bread or cactus to the face) :P
    • Upon striking a trading agreement, I request a business card be provided (a signed book, containing the name of the buyer group, and a list of the members to do buying activities).
    • There may be potential to do selling of items on my behalf after a period of time and if I have the inventory to give.

Interested parties please let me know here or in game.

Player elevator. Ideally a 2x2 platform, but I'll take a smaller one. Doesn't have to be multifloor design. I just need the basic design for you to show me somewhere, maybe just going up to 8 blocks high.

Can you make redstone elevators that are Multiplayer server friendly?
