I'll probably do a longevity challenge for myself. When I first joined after the 1.9 reset I told myself that at 5 deaths I would quit the server. About 6 months later I had 3 deaths, but I decided to stop caring for reasons. Probably won't be able to make a bet on it but I'd be down for a friendly competition beyond this competition (assuming I don't die) just for fun and bragging rights
I'd join this for fun, but it might take longer than you think. Even though I've let my kd go recently (farming 3 of my heads, friendly unarmored pvp, intentionally dying to mobs, etc) just screwing around, as far as I'm concerned I only had 2 real deaths on the server, both to other players and no deaths in the last 6 months or so
Also you realize I sell at 2shells per diamond right? I understand if you want a spawned for yourself or whatever but I figured the consensus was not many other people really need spawners at that rate
I'm mostly impressed by the fact that I only see a stone unenchanted pick and no beacon. That's a gigantic area to mine out using only stone tools
I get an imgur error screen when I click the link. Not sure if the site's down, you linked it wrong, or some problem on my end. Either way see https://forum.craftymynes.com/1807-how-to-post-images-on-the-forum to embed pictures in the future
Problems with this poll
I'd rather "burn down the house" all at once than watch players slowly lose interest in the gameplay on the server over the next several months and eventually leave. I've experienced a decline in enjoyment of the actual gameplay recently (since I believe a functioning economy effectively extends the late game of vanilla minecraft to make it infinitely interesting), and I know others have as well
While I do think a poll would be useful, some individual topics that have been discussed and debated (spawn eggs and converted spawn era, for example) concern both short and long term consequences, and I don't think a simple "should we reset? Yes/No" poll can adequately account for everything
