@CraftyMyner I have no training or real IT background, it was all self taught, I have been working on computers and making websites/servers since I was 10, or maybe less.

Pretty impressive. My last job was in IT, although not server management like this would be so I was in a different portion of the industry. i wouldnt know the 1st thing about running a MC server.

I have the TS3 client basically fully figured out though since I used to own a 50 seat server that was semi busy.

Whats your background in IT that allows you to run the server?

The point is that magic meat makes it so I don't have to even source food. I don't put any thought into the food mechanic in the game, simply due to the server giving me enough on most days to not have to worry.

It being a perk is cool. It taking away the entire starvation mechanic is probably not the intention, which is what the amount of MM i get does.

@Venetorem IMO, having food isn't a problem. it takes 1 log to make a hoe (2 planks, 2 sticks), wheat seeds are everywhere, and water isn't an endangered resource. you can have food in a matter of minutes. People only starve because they don't farm. Minecraft isn't a difficult game to not starve in, even in 'hard' mode.

I think the OP's point is the amount of magic meat we get completely removes most of the need to actually source my own food.

I think it would be reasonable to cut the amount given by 50%. It's still an incentive to vote for but it doesn't give you so much that you can collect it.

Ven and I talked about it, he was willing to park there for a bit to help facilitate the hand off. I am having some time crunch issues this week IRL and I can't give to much steady time. As I write this my mom is helping me with my kids as I am recovering from multiple surgery complications, so my time is really limited and unpredictable. If I can't get help with the kids to rest, I need to be with them and I certainly can't game while I watch 2 young ones.

Another person (my brother) was helping me move my toon to another part of the map. He's leaving to go back home soon and isnt planning on playing much more MC any time soon, so the help was here last night to move the bulk of the crap I wanted to save. I had to move last night so I couldnt personally have the guy who wants the base TPA to me, since I was already gone as of ~9 pm EST.

If Ven can't stick around it's no problem. I've already sent the coordinates so he can get there on his own worse case scenario.
