@BlueAce56 Lets be honest, the chances of Mojang fixing the lag problem is like finding a skeleton with full diamond armor at night, and I've only ever seen one in my years of playing Minecraft. So with that said, this conversation will continue to come up unless the whole community and Crafty decide to change the server. And even then, someone will find a new problem to talk about. Yes this lag is so bad that many active and great players are leaving and considering not coming back, not I of course. This is a really nice community and I would hate to see everyone leave because of something that the server, nor the owner is not responsible for. There really is no solid answer for us to do besides play the lag infected game, or leave....
It’s apparently been fixed

IMO I think it's a good addition, or rather moving of recipes. While I'm usually very strong on crafting stuff as it's literally half the game's name, banner crafting was very out of place. Clunky, very unintuitive and just seemed extremely inefficient. If you didn't purposefully memorize them or craft them often the patterns were very hard to remember since some didn't resemble the actual pattern at all. This is unlike regular crafting, most people can intuitively make a pickaxe or sword in a crafting table because it's in the shape you'd expect (like an actual pickaxe or sword). Other recipes are more of an exploring process when you're new, say a piston or repeater (once you make it once, you remember it pretty well). Banners however were very odd. You have 38 different patterns, all similar and involving the same materials. This makes remembering any of them difficult because of the sheer number. I mean seriously THIRTY EIGHT. That's a serious amount of bannerage.
TLDR: Yea, it's good.
99% of ipbans are for repeated hacking or mass amounts of chat offenses over multiple accounts, unless you’re trying to get ip banned or purposefully breaking rules you should be fine. Bans usually come from chat offenses and etc. As long as you follow our rules you should never be. If you were ACTUALLY falsely banned (and I repeat ACTUALLY false) it probably will be undone. Infact I can point to MrSparklyBacon’s ban as an example.
I can't do that myself, but just out of curiosity... why?
@Idotrytotry Will it rain in the new server?
Not speaking for staff here;
Going off of what Nysic said, from what I can see in the patch notes from the 1.14 snapshots I highly doubt what the exploit is has been patched. I didn’t see anything close to it in the notes. Unless I missed something or Mojang pulls a 180 and patches it, I think it’s safe to say rain will stay off unfortunately.
I like this idea. +1 from me.
@CraftyMyner Or base it on each time we hit the threshold? So we get to $15 and it picks the top voter, or top voter who is default?
Yea something along those lines sound good to me.
Personally I think every 500 (or whatever number) of total votes, the person with the most votes within that 500 would be a decent system.
@bgmg Wait for the grindstone coming in 1.14
