@GrandpaCarl00 If all goes to plan, we'll be resetting mid-week! So with that being the hot topic right now, there's another question I'd like to ask for people who's been in the community longer; what did you guys do on the first week of the last full reset? ( not the partial )

Personally, I first went to rtp to get iron gear and food, that took a day, then I set off into the nether roof and found a good location for my base. That took another day. The third day was making a few basic rooms (Main room, hallway, farm). Fourth and fifth day was making my autosmelter, sixth I think was when I made my autofisher to get mending and etc, and I think the very last day was trying to make god gear.

However, this time around it's different. The first two steps will be the same, iron/food and find a location (could take a while to settle on what biome), the third is where it changes. I will seek out turtles so I can make a turtle farm, fourth will be making basic rooms and the farm, the fifth will be creating a villager breeder because mob griefing is finally on (:D) this one might take a bit. Sixth is create an autofisher and auto potato/carrot farm. Last is mostly building and mining.

after that I plan to seek out a god trident for myself, with loyalty and channelling and another with riptide

So thrilled for this reset!

Finally, some factions being created again. God it's been a while.

You will be able, and allowed. The only way to get up to the roof that is banned is breaking bedrock. Enderpearling and minecarting is allowed.

@AwesomeCreeper50 Hi there. Many of you may not know me, as I wasn't a very sociable person in the server. Over the course of... I think about a year, I have taken a hiatus from Minecraft in whole, rarely touching the game unless I was with a friend on a private server. In an attempt to come back to my roots and enjoy the game I always played when I was a little kid, and remembering how much I adored this server, I desperately want to come back to this server in specific, but be more involved in the community. Rather than logging on, mining for some materials, storing them away in a poorly made base and leaving for the day, i'd rather wish to return and be known by many people, be more sociable in the Discord and in-game chat, make friends and allies, be helpful to the newer users, and more things I probably can't think of off the top of my head. If anyone could give me any tips on how to fulfill this goal of mine, I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't know why, but this post made me realize I don't respond on the forums as much as I used to. I wanna change that.

Anyways, Discord can be great if you wanna connect with people on a more personal basis, but I would recommend talking to people in regular mc chat. When a conversation is happening in chat, feel free to jump in if you have something to say. Be kind of course. Interacting with the main consistent player base is a great way to gain and give trust. Chances are you'll find a few people that stand out, and you'll naturally start to talk more. Maybe you'll find a group of people you can call friends!

TL;DR:

Talking in MC chat is good

Find people you connect with

Be kind

Jump into conversations you can add to, even if it's just a small joke or comment

Gain and give trust, but not too fast.

Just to be clear, that's anywhere from now until July 31st. Released BY the end of July doesn't mean released AT the end of July. They worded that horribly

@Eberk91 I’m curious about you plan for the phantom or I am unsure of the bed situation. Will we be able to sleep in beds individually to avoid phantom attacks or will the whole server need to jump in a bed? I believe you said beds will not effect our set homes. But I have not seen an answer about the phantoms?
