Well I don't play that often but when I log onto CM there's not many players online 10-20 so I don't blame you. I guess I can see my contribution has had the opposite affect to what I intended :C
I guess I'll leave you guys to argue then if you guys want I'm willing to discuss this in PM still.

I just don't think there is an issue with how they enforce the rules, you have yet to bring up one situation to convince me either. Up until now in my view it's simply you repeating complaints of hackers and people banned for chat offenses without explaining anything or why these bans were wrong.

I'm a rational person if you think you are right I welcome any chance to bring about change but you need to stop with these sweeping generalizations which overall ring hollow, anyone can say this but the facts don't lie.

I'm going to assume that was directed at me as the only person who is least known here, I think it's pretty disrespectful to me that you assume anyone who disagrees with you that's not well known is an alt.
Some of us work 40+ hour weeks and then commute 2 hours each day on top of that, the source of logic and truth is irrelevant to the content itself anyway.

I'm firmly with staff on this, personally I'm a quiet player I try not to make waves or participate in chat much but I do read it.

I understand some players may have an issue with how strict the rules are, they may be used to less strict servers but I firmly believe as R4 does, that having the safe and family friendly chat CM does is a good part of what makes CM great and drove me to donate.
I'm sure staff do make mistakes, once or twice I have thought perhaps that person could have used less warning or a bit more after an action is undertaken but they are human mistakes happen. That's not their fault nor is it a huge issue, for the vast majority of the time staff in my opinion function perfectly.

@Pimpcy I wonder if some people are going to take these cherished memories of arguing on a game forum to their grave by how much energy was wasted here

I knew you would turn out to be someone who had a bone to grind with staff, rather than someone that actually cares about CM.
GG to Crafty, R4 and the rest who don't let the faulty reasoning and shoddy arguments stand.

Not that it should be done, I'm against any system as such people should behave good regardless of potential commendations and many players do and staff are happy I'm sure.

I for one agree with R4 and dawn on this, while the thread above does have one or two valid criticisms it seems mostly to be just a thread to attack certain staff, people should raise these concerns when they are a problem not just compile them in one big thread and leave.
I for one don't support the kind of pure economy Cepheid espouses and to try phrase the failing to meet his opinion of the server as a criticism is nonsense as most of his points seem to be.
The server doesn't cater to one individual and failure to meet your opinion of how it should be run is not a failing, that's just arrogance.

Staff do a great job and spend hours of their time for free and most people in this thread seem to have forgotten that.
