G'day I was the staff member who banned you. Now without getting into too many specifics I was watching you for the better part of an hour. During this time I noticed you had extremely irregular mining patters and started to lay out traps for you. Your claim you stopped mining because you ran into gravel is a false one. Instead you contionusly dug to the traps I laid out for you.

The evidence I gathered on you was shared with the owner of the server and we are both in agreement that you used a modified client to do your mining with.
