Was this the inspiration for the windows?
I do like the shape of the roof btw. Something that I tend to struggle with is getting a nice roof shape that's not just flat or a simple diagonal. -

Adding a chimney, windows or skylights to the roof might help, thats what i do when i think it looks too simple
