I'm a little confused right now.

Last night, I was happily lollygagging away in my underground lair, when a server reset comes through - standard procedure; wait a couple of seconds and log in again.
Except, instead of logging back in as usual, I kept getting errors, and I was eventually met with a screen which reads,
"Failed to connect to the server
You are banned from this server!
Reason: repeated chat violation You may appeal at: https://forums.craftymynes.com"

All I'd like to know is what specifically was I banned for, and for how long?

You have been given many warnings for multiple chat violations over the past few days. We received a report about you continuing to break chat rule while staff was offline. After reviewing evidence brought to me, i banned you.
You will be pardoned tomorrow. Take this time to re-read the server rules and verse yourself in them
