@Cutebot How did they trade books?

The books given were written books, these could be traded with villagers for other stuff. While we did our best to remove books from players attempting to stockpile them for trading, inevitably some players got past this and traded the books.

@greanprowler101 Thanks.... but there is something else you should add to the rules. No public alts allowed. I hsve been told multiple times it was fine. And how can yoi know that without any plug ins?

I made a program that resolves the account against the mcleaks account database and bans the ip/account upon a match.

You are responsible for your account and IP - You are responsible for anything that your account or IP does on this server. If you let someone borrow your account and they break the rules, your account can still be banned.

Accounts from public sites/lists will be banned - Accounts found on public sites/lists like MCLeaks are deemed to be stolen or compromised in some way. If you log in with one, both the account and IP will be banned.

Hey, alts allowed but not from MCLeaks. Most of the accounts from MCLeaks are used for players who are hacking, spamming, and/or attempting to DDoS the server by logging in many accounts at the same time. As a countermeasure, we ban accounts and ips from MCLeaks.

@Cutebot Maybe we could add going to homes to the comtrol panel, and also, isnt the control panel like the old book? Can we bring the book back?

I will be adding all commands to the control panel, we will not be adding back the book as it is not compatible with the panel, also, players traded books on the old map.

Yeah, and i know that's there's people out there that like to scam, and yoink everything.
But think about the market! Think about the economy of the server!
These things are critical for this server, mate!

@Dice_Boken There WILL be a trading post, there always has been, the admins just haven't gotten around to building it in spawn yet. The building where the trading post is going to be has already been built.

We have already built it, I am just writing commands for it right now.

It's because you used the account "becarta" from MCLeaks, we ban players accounts and IP's who use MCLeaks. I can unban your IP but you should not use MCLeaks in the future.

I just updated the rules, we are in a bit of an awkward situation by not having the trading post complete yet. For the time being, I ask that players refrain from scamming in spawn areas as well as exercise caution in who they choose to trade with as we are not able to police everything. In the case that you don't trust a player yet still want to trade, please ask a staff to observe the trade.
