@KosherCakes Maybe players could be rated from 1-5 and could only be rated once per person every month by typing in chat "Rate (Player) 5" That number could be averaged out and then each player could look at each other's ratings by typing "rate?" or "rate (player)?" You could implement that rating on TPA but honestly, I don't think it has to.
This would be way too spammy I would think.
@TimmyBoyT My vision is that a person who accepts a tpa request gets an option to rate the transaction similar to how eBay handles it. Maybe they could even rate the entire experience 1 to 10 to help show how helpful the rated person was overall.
The person who initiated the tpa should get the option to rate the experience if they end up dead.
This system might be best at identifying people who might or might not not tpa kill. It would take more thought to find a way to identify follow on griefing. In fact that part may be untraceable.
I think it's just too difficult to implement it in a way it would not be completely thrown off by trolls and not take a huge amount of system requirements.
When would you get to rate the player? Could you rate them at any time? Could you rate them more than once? How would you track which players have teleported to which players? A player could just use an alt to do the raiding and griefing, or wait until the player's ability to rate has timed out?
I feel like this is a cool idea, but it also would require a ton of work and command blocks to make it happen, how would we track tpa kills, and even harder, griefing?
Some of the vote sites don't support https. For some reason, the link in the faq uses the forums https causing the browser to complain.
@R4iscool1 Time till next reset would be great to we can plan votes and now what we missed and when the optimum time to vote is.
I think some sites don't work on a global reset, they work on 24 hours from the last vote, this would be a bit hard to program. I may just put one timer up for the reset of the first link.
@Jordi223b The thing with xp banks and transfering xp is that it is harder to get from, let's say, lvl 29 - lvl 30 than lvl 1 - lvl 2 , so you can get 1 lvl on an alt, transfer it, get another lvl, transferit and so on.
To fix that you'd need a waaaay harder system to make.
This is very true, because you can't take xp from a player you are forced to take levels. Trading levels 1 for 1 is just too op, you could just get to 15 levels and transfer them out to an alt to stack a ton of levels. A long time ago I came up with a system that approximated the exchange rate between levels and xp with a bias towards loss of xp. The cost to keep your levels safe was too lose a bit in the exchange. I don't think it's worth the effort.
I have always been working on more things for credits, there are a few things in the pipeline, one might be using them in the lottery.
In a previous thread, I saw a link for a site the combines all 4 voting links. I think this is a good idea and to avoid directing players to a site not controlled by CraftyMynes, I have created my own. Please let me know if there is anything you want me to change, would you like links at the top for each one to skip ahead, maybe time till next reset if I can do that?
