What they did was stopped properly supporting it and implementing in games since it was pointless for that purpose due to CPU bottlenecks and an engineering problem.

You can still connect 4 cards together using sli bridges though and they have profiles for limited applications it just won't have any proper support and to make use of it the dev of the application or game will need to use DX12 to access it which is unlikely for a small subset of users.

If they are used in the context listed above then I don't see any issue.
Problem is I can't verify they aren't usable for other more problematic uses.
Ghost blocks for example have been used to dupe before in previous versions. There is no equivalent at the moment IIRC but I could be wrong.
I'd say if using them for the functions above then it should be fine.
We don't want to ban anything more than necessary, usually common sense will carry you through.

Staff have the discretion to determine whether something is sufficiently controversial or not. Its built into the rules and we have the right to modify those at any time to cover something we feel the need to be covered.
The controversial rule also explicitly applies to chat not the actual gameplay.
It seems extremely likely that you are trolling when you make accusations that we are biased with no basis.

You are comparing a political figure to what could be considered a negative light, that is what a political statement is.

Politics is far from just related to the government, you are naive if you believe that it can be reduced to anything so simple. It covers a range of subjects which Trump falls under.
He is not strictly political but in the vast majority of cases including this one he is, and that is what we are concerned with hence why we do not allow him or Hillary to be mentioned full stop.

Trump is a presidential candidate in the race in which both candidates have high unfavourability ratings, so to suggest that he doesn't cause controversy or is not a political figure is intellectually dishonest.
He is one of the most political figures on this earth at the moment if not he most. If he isn't then what does qualify as political ?

The mention of either candidate is enough to spark an argument which is what we are trying to avoid, this isn't a debate forum. Its a game, take your political discussion elsewhere. The rules are plenty clear on this and it should be well known to any regular our stance on political chat.
If someone brought up Hillary especially in comparison like above it would have been an equal offense.
There is absolutely no need to issue an apology for punishing someone who violates the rules nor does it need an excuse. Thats how rule enforcement works.

Overall this should not have been handled differently, plenty of warning was given and I suggest you reread our rules and ask staff any questions. We have enforced this precedent for over a year now without issue and it's unlikely to change based on your view that it's not correct because frankly from an objective stance its the best position.

Venetorem was just enforcing that rule, perhaps he should have given a warning but I'm sure he had told multiple people before you the same thing.
