Day 9

I have begun finding signs of the creature once more. Destruction lies in its wake. What makes it difficult is that the beast’s track of wreckage often disappears entirely. I know not whether it teleports, flies, jumps, or simply stops obliterating the landscape at random intervals.
The events of today prove that my mission to track down and eliminate this evil are not in vain, for I have found some sort of tribal burial ground. It is an odd place, full of strange sights. There are ancient books scattered about with text unreadable to me. I shall list a few examples.

Camping here will do me good and allow me time to study the burial ground. Tomorrow my chase resumes.
