Practice and too many hours of trial and error, lol.

A few days ago, this thread got me wondering how few items one could defeat the enderdragon with. @OtherGreenGamer had some amazing accomplishments using little to no armor and slight use of weapons (although having tools such as ladders and pickaxes to help). I decided to go a step further, limiting myself to no items at all. No armor, weapon, tools, or even food.

The rules for this challenge are as follows.

• Must be in Hard Mode.
• Must not have ANYTHING in your inventory at the start.
• May plant chorus fruits around the island. This allows you to eat and not starve.
• Must NOT use chorus fruit for anything besides eating (no using the plants to help kill enderman, climbing up plants, etc).
• May die, although the fewer deaths, the better.
• Must record a video while doing the challenge (no splices) to ensure that rules are being followed.
• Must use playing 1.12.2 vanilla.
• Must use a random seed.

Anything you are able to pick up on the island (enderpearls, chorus fruit, iron bars broken by explosions, etc) is fair game. My record is 3 hours and 20 minutes, roughly, with 19 deaths.

@OtherGreenGamer I beat it in 2 attempts, but I did have a bow, pickaxe and ladders.

Well sure, with items it's not too bad. But without anything... That's a challenge I've never seen done before. I'm curious if someone will beat by record. Takes a LOT of time, that's for sure.

I'VE DONE IT!

I just beat the dragon with NO ITEMS! This excludes anything you can obtain without mining on the main end island (enderpearls, mainly), and chorus fruit (so I don't starve to death, because I was on hard mode).

This took me multiple attempts and on the final attempt I beat it in 3 hours 20 minutes. I died 19 times. I challenge everyone to beat my number of deaths. I will be posting on Reddit the exact rules very soon, along with the video I recorded of the challenge.

Good luck dying less than 19 times... and remember, record the whole thing or there's no proof!

@Sofatroll The lack of options disturbs me. When I can only choose to either approve or diapprove a faction means that if I do not approve it because I maybe just dont know it well enough I'm forced to disapprove it, even if in fact I do not think so

That's a good point. I think the question itself was too broad, too.

I'm confused why some people are fighting these results so hard...

1) I honestly think the results are fairly accurate, and that's coming from the person who refused to take part in the voting because I thought the results would be totally in favor of whatever faction decided to spam the poll with their opinion.

2) Was everyone not aware of how the poll would be done from the very beginning...? Hijacked explained how it would work. I didn't see some of the people who are so butthurt about this arguing it when it as announced. In fact, I recall that there was some bribery involved in the original thread to get results to lean a certain way. And now that the results are in, the same people are saying the poll is completely illegitimate. Seems a bit backwards to me.

If you think the poll was rigged, that's fine, that's why I didn't participate in it. But there's no reason to be so mad over something you supported before, and in the end, it's just a game.

I've never seen a triple chest using this glitch, does anyone have a screenshot? And what happens to the inventory of the chest?
