@Stone__Warrior Ohh I'm being stupid @NerdieBirdieYT , the reason the code thing didn't work is because it's meant to display code in a monospaced font, not to actually display the HTML code, which would be a security vulnerability for <script> tags and such.

Site Update:

I have created a work-in-progress timeline on the site. A direct link to its page can be found here . Eventually this will replace the extremely out-dated "History" section of this thread's original post. If you have suggestions for what to add to the timeline, they would be appreciated.

Also, I tried to directly integrate the timeline to this post using the "Code" button, but it didn't work, and instead just showed the HTML code in a weird box. Does anyone know how to fix that? I will drop the code below, if that's helpful.

@Urid I predict that this will fail, just as Pizza Guild has. I suggest that you do not put too many words into this next time, because some players do not want to read that much. It's not very much to begin with, but most people are just lazy.

How does this faction relate to PG...? Seems like a bit of a quick assumption. You never know, sometimes factions really do work out :D

About the length, though, I think it's a good thing. Keeps lazy people away. XD

@Stone__Warrior @CraftyMyner Why is it that loading chunks in the nether would lag the server more than in the overworld? I thought that since it's easier to avoid obstacles and fly faster in the overworld, this would cause the server more lag.

Because he's talking about the nether roof, the flattest and easiest place to fly in the game.

@HaloNest I don’t watch your series but one thing I noticed in the few videos I watched is that you keep changing resource pack, no quality youtuber does that, the most stick to vanilla tweaking packs for good reason, looking forward to not see 10 different packs in the next 10 episodes.

@EnderConstructor I think Halo's 200% right about that, noticed that you're quite indecisive about your texture packs.
Just stick to vanilla and/or use vanilla tweaks, thats the best you can go with imo :)

I don't recall changing my texture pack too many times... I used to use a faithful pack, and now I use a one that's a bit different, but still relatively faithful. Unless I'm forgetting something (which is totally possible)!

I have no idea how stuff like this works, but my two cents is that people complain about lag enough already, and a large render distance isn't really needed.

Strengths:
Kindness is a virtue. One the the biggest goals in my real-world life is to be kind to everyone - to strangers, to friends, and even to enemies. I strive to be as kind as possible to everyone. That's primarily why I welcome new players all the time, and try to help out when questions are asked about CraftyMynes or Minecraft itself. Having played Minecraft for about 6 years now and actively viewing and producing content on it, I have a good grasp on most aspects of the game. Maturity is also something I push towards as much as I can. I stick very closely to the server rules and am quick to remind people of them when they are questioned or being actively broken. My faction, those who have it me tour their builds (including "enemies"), and quite a few staff members consider me a dependable individual. Speaking of my faction, I believe leading it has majorly increased my leadership skills and helped me handle difficult situations. Lastly, I will point out that I try to be a friendly and companionable person, often joking around with players in chat, which I consider to be something staff members can do well to maintain a healthy playerbase.

Weaknesses:
I have been closely tied to quite a bit of controversy, whether I started it or not. While I recognize this and know I have messed up in the past, I truly have begun to see a turning point in which the controversy is more mild, and I am able to be myself more. I do not like direct confrontation against myself, which I understand that, if accepted as staff, I nah have to deal with. I trust that my experiences here on CraftyMynes has made me more capable of handling such conflicts.

Reasoning for Applying:
Much of what I do in-game already is what I would be doing as Helper (keeping an eye on chat, answering questions, trying to keep players within the rules, etc). I firmly believe that being a staff member for this server would help me to grow as a person by giving me experiences I do not have in the real world, such as moderation and being a friendly but stern "leader", in a sense. I'm on the server very often after school hours, and there aren't always staff on, as many of them have jobs that extend later into the night. I love this server (if I didn't, I would not have made over 30 episodes on it, nor would I have stayed here after much of the drama I have experienced), and I want to improve it as much as possible. I'd love to help out in any way I can.
