Interesting graph, but I'm more inclined to believe we lost at least a quarter of our core people because of the last reset, seeing as how that happened in November 2016. Still food for thought, as far as impacts of doing another server wipe.

As far as the original subject here, I don't feel strongly that the staff are doing anything over the top that's ruining my MC experience on the day to day activities, and I am glad they are all around. But I can tell cepheid is a very methodical guy and I liked his presentation of concerns to create some interesting items of conversation.

@Silver_Sonya Here, entertain yourself with statistics for a couple of other pure vanilla servers and their decline due to vanilla lags.

These graphs show a stable population on the servers. But it's still lower than CM's. IMO this just tells me CM has a capability to host more (and new) players.

It would be interesting to see how the summer population comes out on this graph. Until then I think it's a little premature to really consider the server dying.

Your base was incredibly close to Spawn being only 10k out... you needed to be like 50k+ away to expect some kind of privacy. I could use the random teleport and have a chance to get sent to your base if it was above ground.

I've never met you @playhavock but it would be too bad to see a player leave for this reason. You should at least try moving farther out before throwing in the towel. Ask us for help if you need tips/tricks to cover ground quickly and how to find a spot that you won't be raided. There's a thread on it somewhere here in the forum.

My apologies to those who were hoping to trade today or yesterday - my wifi has been out and I totally forgot it was Easter today so I've had no time today either.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to leave some of you without again for this event as well, but my time has run out for having spare time to be on CM at least for a few months.

I'll get on from time to time but for the summer at least I'm going to be more scarce than I already am. But hope to see you all online and thanks and congrats to so many of you who was able to take advantage of this trade event.

No, after this weekend I'm anticipating my already limited time on CM is going to drop sharply and continue through the summer. The times I can get on after this weekend would be wildly unpredictable and wouldn't follow any real schedule.

Plus I'm not fully understanding why you couldn't just change your name today and be done with it, rather than waiting until next Wednesday. Don't have to answer that but it's just got me really curious.
