That's what I was thinking. From what I've been told the new map may be a bit laggy at first. 1.13 has a lot going on.

That does NOT pertain to what I was asking.

Here’s what you do: take random tp and walk out to about 20k and build yourself an underground temp base. 20k is not nearly fat out enough so you’ll want to make quick work of it. Collect materials, get your achievements, mine for iron, chop wood and collect food until you have enough resources that you can get to the nether roof to start on a real base.

Do we know what time the update will be released? For instance at 3:00 am eastern or something?

No it was a snapshot. This was several weeks back.

Absolutely positively excited about this. I won't be able to finish my baseball stadium but I knew that going into it, it's just too huge of an undertaking and I've been busy and haven't been on much. Oh well.

I do hope they've worked out the kinks in 1.13. The snapshot I played on was terribly buggy as far as performance is concerned.
