I think that all chests should be accessible within the anti-grief area.
Keep raiding an option, if possible and convenient.
Here is a proposal for in-game cost per month:
4x4 Chunk protection (64 by 64 blocks) = 4 obsidian stacks (256 pieces), 4 diamond blocks
8x8 Chunk = 8 obby stacks, 8 diamond blocks
16x16 Chunk = 12 obby stacks, 16 diamond blocks
Price cost could rise or lower based on how popular anti-grief becomes.
Make it expensive for base protection, requiring $ donation, obsidian blocks, diamond blocks, gold blocks, emerald blocks, or other forms of costs.
Make it a monthly cost that needs repeated, that way if somebody neglects their costs or play time their base will become open to attack.
Make it available only to VIP and VIP+
Also the more area you want to protect and guard, the more expensive anti-grief should cost.
These are my opinion/vote on the matter.
Hopefully the new server is released soon and I'll get back to mining obsidian and making a new base!
Very exciting to have a fresh server!
I would like to keep my base. But I could live without it and rebuild too. My main grief is losing the hundreds of hours spent mining obsidian. I probably have mined over 100,000 obisidan blocks by now, most of which are used at my base.
If I could receive even a fraction of those after a reset then it would be enormous compensation for the time lost. And this begs the question as to next year. What happens when a Minecraft 2.0 comes out? Will CraftyMynes keep resetting the map from year to year? Then what's the point of spending so much time that will be lost, again, next year???
I'd like to know the answers so I can decide soon whether to continue mining obsidian on the 1.8.9 server...
Server just dropped again, 4:51pm.
Any staff online?
