Hey guys, I want to start this topic by asking everyone here(possibly adults) what makes you more happy?

Is it money & materialistic things or family, friends and a healthy relationship?

I ask this because I'm the type of a guy who doesn't care about money & materialistic things.
Money comes and goes, materialistic things come and go.

Family, real friends and healthy relationship don't.

I'll tell you a short story. I met a girl - I knew her from way back when I was a security guard in Croatia.
She told me how one of her friends moved to Germany and found a great job and has a girlfriend and stuff.

Once he came back to Croatia and a lot of his "friends" bombarded him with messages.
Those friends used him a lot.
A guy asked him to borrow him a 100 euros to buy himself some shoes.
He made a video of him burning a 100 euro bill.

Which obviously means "Go fuck yourself and your 100 euros.". Then she told me that she never cared about money because money can't buy happiness and love. It can buy gold-diggers and friends who are with you because of your wealth. She was in a 5-year relationship with a guy who lived on her back. What I mean by this is that he was a lazyass and she worked her ass off to have money. She was buying him everything. I honestly bow down to that girl for saying that.

Of course, you can't live without money either but my point is: Family & friends are more important than money & materialistic things. I love cars, I love my expensive laptop and my Bang & Olufsen headset.

But I love my friends and family more. :)

So give me your answer. Let's make this kind of an interesting topic to talk about. :)

I honestly didn't get anything special, but there is something special that my mom gave me.

Y'all might laugh, but she did buy me 5 pairs of socks. She is going through shit right now and she put a smile on my face because it did make me happy. Me & my mom are really connected to heart. So it is special gift for me.

My sister's boyfriend got me two Monster Energy cans and my brother got me a screwdriver with lots of parts stored in it. It's a pretty useful thing and I did need one of these. I dunno how he knew but yolo.

...and one of the coolest things I got myself for Christmas is my laptop, Bang & Olufsen headset and Marshall headset. I really spent about 1650 euros on all that. Oh well, you know how that works. :)

Those socks are my favorite gift I was given especially because my mom gave those to me. :)

I'm that kind of guy that littlest things can make me really happy. :D

I really like the fireworks thing. It makes Doge a happy Doge.

So that's why I died the other day at the Mesa biome when I logged in xD

I was on this server when it had 30m border and I can tell you it was the laggiest motherfucker of a server alive and even with the best options when it comes to gear for the server. Crafty bought the best of the best stuff and it decreased lag. Let's not mention how many people were online each day.

If it was for the increasing, I'd suggest to increase it 200k on each direction. I think server could go with almost same lag as it is now. If not, let it be as it is. :)

@humfrydog My depression and bad thoughts are clearly in the drivers seat lately, 6 and 7 times a day i have repeated bad thoughts. Unfortunately Craftymynes is bringing me no relief lately since the reset. I get more frustrated and depressed daily. Constantly feeling alone and without friends. I am seriously considering quitting CM all together.

You should see me here in Germany. I'm near on quitting my job, more like getting fired for bullshit.
I was talked behind my back even tho I did mistakes in the beginning. They realized I ain't no asslicker.
I will actually quit the job by myself, like I did almost a year ago.

I have absolutely zero friends here. There's this guy Jan but I'm not keeping any hopes on keeping the friendship, it was more based on working mates when I was cleaning the kitchen, he's cooking stuff there.

Then there's this girl I like, most likely she likes me too. We don't even know each other's names lol.
She works as a security guard at Continental's doors so we don't have time to talk. All I do is check in and out. She always smiles at me.

Then this issue with my dad, who fucked up the entire family by cheating on my mom after 34 years of marriage. I saw his new lover in the elevator and he wanted me to go with them. I refused and used stairs.

Then all the shit broke loose, we literally argued at our workplace. He was cold as fuck on me.

I don't see that girl so often but when I told her "I didn't see you around for like a week."
She replied: "Yeah I was sick and had night shifts. You're lucky because I'm working on daylight all week."

Idk what was that supposed to mean but she could be a really good friend tbh.
If I get a job as a security guard at the same place where she is, I can keep in contact with her.

The leader of all security guards including her at that place is my neighbour so all I need is to learn German and that'll take a few months. It's a process that needs to be done. :)

For the last one month I've been extremely depressing(not literally) and it's horrible.
I'm glad my mom will move to Germany and work here in like 7-8 months.
I hope she'll get a job here. She's always been there for me. Saved my life once.

I feel like shit when I'm near my dad. It's like I never had him in my life.

Shit's ridiculous.
