Gold farms are notoriously unsuccesful since 1.11. (I think it was that update.) The server render distance is 5 chunks and i believe that counts the one you are in so an 11 by 11 chunk area is the spawning area for mobs centred on the player.

not all nether mobs are affected by light - best to slab as WBlaine says

Usually we take sibling excuses with a very large pinch of salt, but in your case as i have seen you on CraftyMynes for much of the time i've been on it and cannot recall you ever misbehaving in chat i believe you that it was your sister.

However you are responsible for your account so the ban still stands and is set to 24 hours from now.

When you go in a chunk 5 around you are loaded. Will they be shown as up to date? or just the ones you enter?
