They do seem to be a greyish colour when i've had them on sp - perhaps it is their overworld colour.
They will spawn in the air around the spawner unless you fill the area 9 x 9 x 3.
Sonicxxxmario - i dont suppose you play mariokart 8?
That sounds fair enough :) A good compromise.
@Sirchristopher10 I am sure that if the map was reset there are plenty of people who would help you rebuild your resources.
Well before 1.11 zillagers would spawn alongside zombies and witches so you could get them from a general mob farm/dark room (the non spawner variety). I built a new one of these to feed the purifying station to only get zombies and skeletons with no zillagers. (I dealt with endermen, spiders and creepers so i wasnt expecting any of them).
It does look suspiciously like the only way to get villagers now is to breed them.
Looks like zombie villagers dont spawn naturally anymore. Can anyone confirm this? I have spent quite a while on my sp today with all the other hostile mobs appearing but no sign of any zombie villagers. If anyone has seen any naturally generated ones in the wilderness since 1.11, please post here. (Not counting zombies infecting villagers as you need a villager to infect in the first place)
That is a bit of a blow, from my point of view. Stopping it will leave 3 or 4 players vastly better off than those who havent got around to putting their shulker eggs in a spawner, so i struggle to see how this balances the economy unless you remove theirs too. Also it is not all about the economy. Along with a number of others, i enjoy the challenge of taming the more unusual mobs and am not particulary bothered about gathering mineral wealth. The redstone engineering side is what i enjoy.
Would it not be better to change this when the map is reset and everybody is put back on a level playing field? I am up for a map reset as the way to rebalance things.
