Fish mobs, instead of the "invisible until caught" system we have now. They could just spawn like squid do and then be drawn towards the bobber and then fly through the air when you reel them in and turn into items when they hit the ground and die. Seems simple enough, though it would screw up AFK fish farms for sure, and it would be a major change to the fishing system in general. Not sure how they'd do treasure though, it's unfortunate that they added that without changing the fishing system first because it makes it more complicated. Perhaps fish have a chance to drop treasure that they've "eaten" for example. I think fishing could be a lot more interesting/engaging.

Edit: Better idea. You reel in the fish and on the bobber is some treasure attached as well. Less gross than the fish having eaten the treasure, and makes more sense. As well, sometimes the fish could get away (visibly swim off when you reel in) and you may still get the treasure attached.

Mine do none of that, which is a damn shame because I love mice and would love to have a live one be handed to me so I could have a pet.

But now this presents an opportunity for us to build a personal base together :D

Add Lovebirds to the list

Dogs are really obnoxious, smell strange, and break things. Cats are not at all "jerks" and you just need to find a cat that isn't. Most cats either mind their own business at least or snuggle with you, all of mine are snuggle bugs and between my family I have 6 so I have a sample size of more than one at least :D

Possibly but the problem with that is my vision for the server seems to be very different from Crafty's so I don't think that would work that well. What he says is what happens, period. Otherwise I'd love to help, and I totally get that mentality, I'm pretty similar in that regard. I do appreciate that he's making commands case insensitive though, that's great.

Regarding the spectators thing though, I don't think being so hidden matters since people can mostly tell anyway but I get the reason, so I'd opt to rework the commands to make sure spectators had scores to stay hidden. As far as I remember, spectators can also have scores showing like any other player. Been a while since I've done command block work though so I could be wrong. If I don't forget I'm gonna do some testing when I can.

And then we could have iron boats that could withstand more damage, and boats could have different textures with cracks with more damage like anvils. Consistency.
