I have some, if you can catch me online.
Don't see how you could show proof of home not being set. There are still warps and just having the coords is enough to be a problem if the seller isn't trust worthy.
@Venetorem mojang authentication servers =/= CraftyMynes server
So what does the "Mojang" section on the CraftyMynes status page represent then?
Everything is green on the "Status - CraftyMynes" page, but the Minecraft login server is down for maintenance. I expected the Mojang Auth. Server would appear offline and red while down.
Don't know when I can get online next, but I have a fair amount of blaze rods. I assume they're useful in the update?
Anyone know what the fair price is?

I find if you keep the conversation in game related to gameplay there are fewer problems. Every time someone starts talking about politics people end up getting kicked and sometimes banned.
Which is fine by me because I turn to gaming to escape politics.
@pand1024 If you removed all valid places for portals to spawn then the game will spawn a floating one. Best plan is probably to not have portals at all.
I don't want to use a Portal, I just want to prevent receiving one from another player.
@NutjobBob Portals look for a 1x4 area of blocks with air 4 blocks above it. Anything that disrupts this should stop a portal spawning. Probably the easiest way to disrupt it is to place something in diagonal lines across the floor. Perhaps something like torches, string, buttons, grass/flowers etc. which are fairly unobtrusive and shouldn't ruin the appearance of your bubble too much.
An alternative is to build a decoy portal nearby, the game will us an existing portal if it can before generating one. When they look for a destination portal they search 128 blocks away horizontally, and the full height of the map. You could stick a portal up near the roof above your bubble and anyone using a portal that could generate one in your bubble will end up there instead.
This is exactly the sort of information I was looking for thank you.
Since I've seen portals spawn with the bottom blocks imbedded into the ground I wasn't sure if they only needed 4 air blocks vertically to spawn, I believe you confirmed that theory.
Since my bubble only has 3 air blocks above ground level I think I'm safe. I'll keep the disruption options in mind in case I decide to add some arched cealing areas.
@CraftyMyner I think it's just too difficult to implement it in a way it would not be completely thrown off by trolls and not take a huge amount of system requirements.
When would you get to rate the player? Could you rate them at any time? Could you rate them more than once? How would you track which players have teleported to which players? A player could just use an alt to do the raiding and griefing, or wait until the player's ability to rate has timed out?
I can't speak to system requirements, but as far as when the rating should become available, maybe as soon as the connection has been broken by one of the parties using tp or warp to leave the area and up to an hour later?
Of course scammers will immediately look for ways to exploit the system. Right now there is no system. I just wanted to throw the half baked idea out there and see if it stuck.
