I often see on the minecraft subreddit screen shots with really nice texture packs. Are these allowed on the server? If so, any recommendations? This rig has a GTX 580 in it.

I'm having trouble finding packs that are actually straight forward to install. If I find a pack I like it has a convoluted install process of epic proportions or if I find a pack i like that seems to come as an actual resource pack things like the download don't work.

Anyone have a good place to find packs easily?

9minecraft and the sites like it are most of the time full of malware and give no credit to the mod creators. Stick to the Minecraft Forum or Curse

If you're being serious you really should be majorly careful about that. It will, without a doubt, cause you a huge problem down the road.
