So, didn't get much info in the chat online while playing... so i'll post it here. I tamed a dog... and TP'ed home, and he didnt come with me. He wasn't sitting either... :/ Isn't there a way besides walking all the way back home.. lol Or attempting to?

Dogs will teleport with you if the chunk stays loaded. So, if you have a friend who will stand out there and wait while you teleport home, your dog will come too.
Yeah, walking all the way home would stink... :P

Did you have someone with you, though? For some reason, if you're alone in a chunk and teleport away, the dog won't come. I always have to bring a friend along.

Like MagicalMapmaker said, have a person with you and the dog, then when you teleport, it keeps the chunk you left loaded and the chunk you went to loaded, so the dog can tp from one chunk to another.
