I live underground and don't find them too useful. I'd need a pack in order for wolves to be of help and I need a single cat to ward off creepers. In the time it takes to get those I would be better off not getting them at all

Lmfao I feel like only I'd find this useful, since I live in the end and cant just tp home with a pack of wolves.
But I can always go dog hunting when theres hardly people on, and nobodies in spawn. Just gotta be quick about it.
Otherwise, it seems useless for people to bring their pets to spawn. -
I vote no pet protection, i have 20 dogs, chances are only 1 would teleport to me if tjeu teleported at all, just breed your pets #NotWorthTheLag
