Dang, What a landslide. Though I do admit, I didnt consider pve when voting. My vote would have still been the same either way though. I ask though, @CraftyMyner is it even possible to get rid of the cool down, or the rapid healing after you eat, without any plugins?

I cast my vote for turning off PVP cool down.
After spending some time learning the mechanics, or "getting good", I am in full agreement with @darktyui . The battles do get drawn out way too long and is based on who has more meat than the other person. 1.9 combat definitely helped noobs like myself get into PVP, but 1.8 PVP is simply more intense, making it more interesting and fun.
