@Naidae Is this new? I remember before the server reset my guardian grinder worked wonderfully and consistently no matter what time it was

I never dealt with working in water temples before the last big reset, but this time around, when I was draining my water temple i realized how lethal the temple gets after a soft reset during off hours.

I had to drain my temple during peak times to increase my survival chances cause I'd get literally hundreds of the buggers in small pools around the temple that would one-shot me in god gear when I stopped paying attention to them.

By controversial it means using a word that IRL elicits a response or reaction, intentional or not, that takes the conversation into "real life problems" Where people feel strongly one way or another about the word.

Gay - when used to describe something or something done (usually inferior or undesirable things) has been just one example, where people who personally associate with the word, are left feeling inadequate or less than average. Who wants to play on a server where players casually use words they don't like for stuff like that?

It's all about context. If I suddenly started saying "tobor79'd" to describe a huge mistake or something dumb (which I never would), staff would shut that down the moment you tell them the context. There's very little tolerance for bullies and IRL controversy.

It's understandable that sometimes people who don't relate to the history of controversial words use them without understanding how that makes others feel. "N"-words, "G"-words, ect have been used in the past to keep certain groups of people feeling inferior. You may not understand why it hurts people, but believe the staff when they tell you it offends someone - they work to keep an overall positive environment for everyone. You can play the game without having to use controversial words.

This is a game, and the mods/admins work to keep conversations as civil as possible to keep it an environment welcome to as many players as possible.

I'm also not very good with Elytra with lag but there's smarter ppl out there that knows how to work it relatively safely.

Bring enderpearls and use roof. Or an elytra+rockets from nether roof. Barring random lag, you'll hit the borders to the overworld in less than 20 min that way (enderpearls may be closer to 45min).

Cool concept, but could be very hard to do in a market where literally everyone has the potential to be a consumer and/or vendor (so more "rogue" merchants). If you're looking at a forming a generic average, what's worked best for me is to follow the established merchants advertising on the forums (versus the average player trying to get rid of excess things).

Merchants on the forums are in it for the long haul and are consistent traders of items so they represent a high volume of traded goods. And from what I've seen, because they post their prices for all to see, their prices heavily influence online trades.

My suggestion is to find the active merchants on CM and get them to buy into a trade alliance or something to not necessary price fix but rather collaborate on general accepted price ranges. Then it's an activity shared across different folks to maintain too. That might get you closer to what you're trying to do.

But that suggestion aside, I'm with GrinningBobcat to just let it be and let everyone figure prices out in their own way (trial and error & supply and demand). Its easier and requires little work.

I'm not following where this hostility is coming from. I found your charts interesting and shared my interpretation of them. I'm neutral but interested in this topic.

Are your feelings hurt because I'm not 100% convinced of your own assessment? I only shared my opinion thinking I was talking to a civil and intelligent person based on your trying to back your statements with data.
