@Dennari43 Maybe make the 1v1 arena a vip arena, so it isn't fully open to everyone, but is more like an added perk of vip and up.

i think this is a terrible idea, it should be open to everyone because a majority of the players on the server are not donators.

@HaloNest It would be wrong if it had more than one parkour area in my opinion, and same for the arena.

They would drag away players from playing survival.

i mean, you can do whatever you want within the bounds and rules of the server, so who cares if you play survival or not? people aren't just going to constantly be doing the parkour in spawn even if there were 20+ parkour courses. people come to the server for survival, but this is just something a little extra for people to enjoy

@Cileklim A mixture of these ideas would be ideal. A simple arena with cover and obstacles here and there, along with one or two elevated platforms

or the 1v1 arena could make use of structure blocks to switch what the interior of the arena would be within each fight. each player could choose what sort of terrain they want i.e. flat with no walls, some hills and walls, etc. and it will randomly choose one of them. then you both can agree to choose one and you will always get the one you agree on

@HaloNest There’s already an arena, if you want to bet with your friends you can do that, the 2 players limit is not a bad idea but since this is a survival centered server I think there’s no need for an additional one.

Yeah bud? I'd been thinking it since way back before August 11th xd. Plus my idea is way better since there would be betting and risking

As it stands now, not many people use the arena because random people can join in and gang up on you without much you can do about it, so this is my fix for that.

The 1v1 Arena part is as straightforward as it sounds, but I also suggest a way to "risk" certain items as the player who is in the 1v1. Like I wager 10 diamond blocks I can beat you and you wager a totem of undying. Winner takes whatever the person had on them + both risks. The risk part is only to prove that someone has something on them that they say they have, it would be displayed much like how items are displayed in the trade post

The betting part is straightforward as well, just a secure way for spectators to bet on fights.

There could also be a way to call for a draw by having each player stand on their respective pressure plates on either side of the arena, which would refund risks and bets

we have probably the closest bonded faction on the server, the most raids pulled off, the longest living active faction, most riches acquired, and we are the most skilled at pvp.

but ya know, whatever makes you feel better lol, say we got nothing bucko

we didn't even get any of the riches because of our mole, we got that just because we're the best players on cm
