When I get some time, I will be changing the particles and adding some hats.

If I can make requests for hats I'd ask for an endrod, slabs, and glass block(s).

You won't likely be getting end rod as hats can be taken off and used as blocks, we have to keep to cheap stuff like glass, pistons, leaves and the like

Can we get some small fishing docks in out of the way places around spawn? Thought it would be cool and realistic like. Under the bridge would be cool, always good catches there.

i don't know if this suggestion would be for another thread but how about a trade post thread? people are often just asking if anyone wants to buy or sell something in public chat so some better structure would be great, thread is the best i could come up with, not very good i know

suggestion for trading post
put up a sign of some sort explaining how to use it. I traded with many new people that just put items in and hit accept and I feel that some one is going to get ripped by there own mistake.

should have sever delete ground items when they reach high numbers to help reduce lag obviously give a few min warning first.

What about a bank at spawn where we can purchase extra safe storage? Nothing huge but maybe a double chest? I would pay for that. My enderchest is a bit full.

This would be pay2win as you are directly avoiding loss of items (and thus retaining wealth) by giving tangible currency to the owner; could be borderline EULA breaking.

We'll have to see what crafty says in that case :)
Edit: just keep in mind that a double chest + ender chest can fit every monetary need and even like 6 sets of p4 and some god tools and sword, making raiding completely useless on the server (as rare as it actually is) so I personally am opposed, but that's just my opinion -
Also, that would mean loads of chests sitting around spawn. I agree with Mabzino, it just would make raiding useless, even the random tp.

The chests sitting around spawn isn't an issue, an underground space would be made.
Another problem though is how to restrict access to individual chests. -
Being able to buy them is out of the picture.
You can log chests and other storage items, if the chests were in a gm2 room and you had the right key, it could work just like a personal storage box that you see in banks.
However, there is issues with this:
- Too much indestructible storage for players, why would you store any valuables in your base where they could be raided.
- Each double chest would require an admin to lock it.
- Players losing their homes is already a big enough issue, players losing their keys would become an issue.
- You take on all the risks of a real bank, robbery, natural disaster, systems failure, so much could go wrong and the stakes are really high.
- It would take a lot of time to setup.
- What would happen when someone leaves the server, what do we do with their stuff. The old server at about 100k players, even if just half of the players bought a storage chest, we would have 50k double chests. Even if you could have a solid block of double chests, it would still be about 200-300 blocks square, excluding the fact that no one would be able to reach their chests.
- How would you find your chest, at first it would be easy, but after we have 50k of them, it would be impossible.
It's a cool idea, and I have definitely thought about it before, sadly, I don't think it will happen though.

I'm sure he feels the push to get it done, but some of the features are giving him trouble/require, I may get it to be sectioned off so we can get some of the games/features running in the casino.
