Whenever i fell like restarting on craftymynes i teleport to another spot and some1 elses mine is already there.
This person already took all the iron in the caves below.
I was thinking about something to respawn the ores underground while still keeping peoples creations intacked.

Yeaaaaah, I doubt this will ever happen. The world is big enough for the players to find more resources, you just have to go further out that what you are currently doing.

That's why you start a mine somewhere else. Of course you're not gonna find anything in someone else's mine. If it was made for the ores to respawn, people could take note of the coords of diamonds, and come back later essentially having An infinite source of diamond.

Sorry, not gonna happen. Plus there'll be more Iron in that cave even if it has already been mined. Just keep looking, it's not that hard.

strip mine,
+no mobs
+less torches
+more ores(the ores get cut off when a cave spawns)
+less food needed
+more building resources
+less lava
+less likely to have been mined out- less mob loot
- more picks
