@Stone__Warrior How long will this sale last?
The sale is on from now until Jan 1st!
@NerdieBirdieYT Curious - does CM have any official social media? I saw a Twitter profile but it had nothing on it. I ask because I obviously post CM stuff a lot, so it'd be nice to @ the server or get a hashtag going for it.
I haven't the time for managing social media, however, I did take the time to claim all the major sites,
The CraftyMynes staff and I would like to thank everyone who has been apart of our community for the last 3 years. To celebrate Christmas, we have created a massive tree in spawn that contains a PVP arena and observing platform.
We would like also extend huge thanks to all our donors, without them this server wouldn't have been possible. To thank all our donors we will be having a 15% storewide sale on all items. This means ServerBill's, Upgrades and VIP+ is all 15% off!!!
Check out the store: Here
Look forward to another great year with the CraftyMynes Community!

CM's issue with lag comes from players bases, the fact we are vanilla and the people who fly through the nether loading and generating 1000's of chunks in a very short period of time. It's not going to be fixed anytime soon and increasing the render distance would mean that every player would now be causing a lot more lag and players flying in the nether would cripple the server.
It’s a flush door, with no visible mechanics from the outside.
99% of all the command blocks have been converted to functions and I have already begun creating scripts to automate the conversion.
@Honder 1- What year did the server start, and who were the original 5 members (do all of them still play?)?
It was created October 10th 2014, it went live on MCSL on October 13th 2014.
@Honder 2- What's the biggest challenge the server has had from a management standpoint?
I think the biggest challenge is the fact we are vanilla, this makes all simple tasks much harder. For BuyCraft, you just need to add their plugin, for vanilla, I had to code my own program to interface with their API. Cheat detection is very hard with vanilla and so is all other aspects like TPA and homes.
@Honder 3- Who is responsible for the super dope spawn!?
We all had a hand in spawn. Quite a bit of it was me like the tower, dragon head, furnace, elytra, enchanting table and paths. The structure of the trading post was Nysic, the boats and sub were various players.
@Honder 4- Has the server always been plug-in free?
Yes, I had plugin servers before this but from day one we were vanilla.
@Honder 5- If you could put any neat tips here, such as most toxic player ever on the server, farthest anybody has ever made it, biggest base, biggest raid, etc. this would be the spot to do it!
I think others can answer this, biggest base has to be sknup. We have had a few players that were hard to get rid of. There's also quite a bit on my AMA.
There's no point using command blocks anymore these days. Telling players to limit what they put into a place so it can be counted sounds harder than all options so far.
It's not impossible, as I said, because of lag and the fact the panel is not part of the server (only able to read chat). There would likely be some sort of desync in the items causing more issues when it says the guy gave the right amount but it shorted them. Who do you trust, the guy who took the screenshot of what the server said or the guy who said he didn't get the right thing. Also, I would have to translate all the enchants and display items into an easy to consume block of text.
I have way better and more important things to work on right now, like to figure out how to translate 1000's of commands.
It is possible that could get the console to entity data all the items in the sending slot but it would likybe unreliable and would spam the console a lot.
Quite a hard feat to do in vanilla, banners can't display text with enough precision to display all that info. Also getting each item and count would be next to impossible, there is many different types and counts players could put in, and to add complexity, stacks are just one entity with a different count.
