r4iscool1 posted in Clarification on Rules?.

@SeantasticSean My only issue was that I was not using it in a way to harm a person or attack a topic that fell into those categories named by the online staff and failed to properly explain what I had exactly broken. The area that they referred to does not exist in the terms they used to describe it.

Well since I was present, chat is not the place to ask for lengthy clarification of the rules, if you have an issue PM or take it to the forums like now. Arguing about it in the chat is not tolerated so I would ask you to not do so in future. The area we referred to does exist in the rules too, retarded is a controversial term which I informed you in chat and it is mentioned in the rules.

@SeantasticSean And like I said, I wouldn't have said it had I known I could be kicked for using it in a seemingly passive way. Based on what you said, if I use retarded in any sentence regardless of context I could be punished, which I understand but I do believe that clarification by staff members or the rules could be improved.

I'm sorry but as I said chat is not the place for that sort of discussion, if you have a concern or you feel clarification is inadequate take it to here not argue it in chat. I think you'd find not arguing would also help people give you clarification.

@SeantasticSean Thanks for the response. I don't do this to break balls, I just was honestly curious as to the real reason why. I just wanted a real explanation other than a "drop the subject because you asked a question."

I'm glad that you are using the forums this way now but you were provided a number of explanations even more lengthy than the ones above in chat but you wanted to argue instead, no one ever asked you to stop because you were asking a question, we asked you to stop because you kept arguing and ignoring what we said. Therefore asking you to take it to forums.

@GrinningBobcat I mean it could be said why is the Crafty Credit exists if no good reason to really have it, food and xp as a reward for voting would be enough. My point being is that not having a solid reason wouldn't necessarily a bad thing, It would help out players that have no grinder and don't want to go out and hunt for xp

Crafty credits exist because it encourages voting whereas food and XP don't.

A lack of a reason to do something is generally a reason not to do it.
I don't think we should be helping players by making the game even easier than it already is and let them just stockpile levels, removing another minecraft process from the gameplay. If we start thinking about it that way we may as well play creative.

    All the Issues aside.

No one has yet to provide a solid reason for implementing such a system.

    Why though?
What benefit does storing my levels achieve, all I see it is as a way to further make the game easier and take away from the whole survival aspect of survival.

People are still going to be dump vast amounts of XP into the bank and just not grind again. Getting to level 100 with an end grinder isn't very hard and if someone does that they can enchant at max level over about 70 times just from the bank and take none of the risk of carrying the XP.

I'm not really sure what you are saying but it would be rather OP if you could just spend a couple of hours in an end grinder and then stock all the XP up and never farm again.
It's taking away a core part of the minecraft process no matter how it's implemented, levels or XP.

Hi, we forbid discussion of a number of topics that can cause controversy and arguing since it's an in game chat not a debate forum.
As such topics such as Human sexuality, politics/world affairs, religion and crime/drugs are forbidden, although this list is not exhaustive and staff may add to this on the spot if they feel its necessary to maintain chat order and harmony.
Therefore words such as gay which relate to them are generally forbidden.

We aren't here to discuss whether or not a word is controversial as staff we have decided from experience words such as that tend to cause arguments due to differing views and have therefore banned them. While I understand in your personal view it may not be controversial it is to others which causes arguments and we therefore do not tolerate it.
