Hi, I was wondering why Crafty and staff decided to allow the nether roof. A lot of chunk loading lag can be caused by it, so that's why I was wondering.

Should probably ban the nether roof at this point causes tons of lag, There is a nether highway so its not really needed to get far out.
Also a pretty serious bug which causes lag with nether portals and entities, not sure how much it could be effecting this server.

We allow it because it makes it easier for newer players to setup and travel to appropriate distances, banning it in my mind wouldnt do a huge amount of help as people can still elytra and rocket in the main nether without huge interruption.
You'd mainly be affecting the newer players and casual users. -
I think everyone should be mandated to add 10 km to the nether brick road or else they get banned! for all eternity :)

Wonder if there is a way to reduce the amount of chucks loaded around the player in the nether, would probably help quite a bit.
